Q. If I have a technical query how do I get help?

A. We have live chat manned from 9am to 6pm Monday to Friday and from 9am to 1pm on a Saturday.

Q. Can I set the commission rates on holidays within the search results?

A. Commission rates are set by either the homeworking company or the travel agent organisation, if you are part of a large homeworking company you will need to discuss the commission rates with them.

Q. What happens if I don't pay my monthly subscription?

A. If a monthly payment is not received within seven days of the due date you will lose the functionality to update your site. You will no longer be able to update the 'About Us' and 'Top Deals' pages. If payment is not made within 30 days of the due date your site will be disabled and replaced with a holding screen until payment is made. We do not delete sites.

Q. Are there any hidden costs?

A. No, there are no hidden costs that will pop up, our system is fast, easy to use and runs efficiently.

Q. How does the website portal work?

A. Once you create your holiday webtech account you will have your own login details. You can then log into your site from any computer or mobile device.

Q. Can I add videos to my site?

A. Yes, if you upload your video to YouTube and copy and paste the link to the right place on the website. The video will display in the 'About You' page.

Q. Is the Holiday Webtech gateway secure?

A. Yes, we have integrated Stripe which ensures your payment details are fully secure.

Q. Is my data backed up and secure?

A. Yes, all of your data is securely stored in the Microsoft Azure cloud solution. This guarantees not only the complete up time of your site but guaranteed data security.

Q. How are the holiday prices / commission levels set?

A. The prices are set by either the homeworking company or the individual agency.

Q. Which suppliers will be in my DP engine?

A. The suppliers are managed at a homeworker company / individual travel company level.

Q. Does the system make the bookings?

A. No, the system is built to deliver high quality enquiries for you to work with. The system does not make any online bookings.

Q. What URL do I choose and do I get to keep it?

A. You can choose from any available URL. Once you purchase the domain it is yours. If you provide us with a domain you would like to use there is a £20 set up fee.

Q. Who is the contract with?

A. The contract for your website is with you the individual and Holiday Webtech, the monthly payment to Holiday Webtech ensures availability and functionality of your site. As there is no contract outside of the 30 days you are free to cancel should your circumstances change.

Q. Why do you suggest we use a Facebook / Instagram business page?

A. This keeps a clear differential between your nights out and your business. We can help you configure if required for £25, but it is pretty easy to do on your own.

Q. How does Messenger work?

A. You have to create a business messenger account. We can do this if required. We can also add Whats app messenger for a one off fee of £15.

Q. How live are the prices?

Not only do we have scheduled updates of prices throughout the day, but each time a route is searched we automatically update the prices of all linked holidays. 

Q. Can I have a unique template?

We have a number of standard templates and home working companies have their own. If you would like a unique one we can quote for this, from only £500.

Q. Do you offer a search of other products?

Our initial product is beach but we are looking to offer cruise, touring, city, ski, villas in the coming months.
